Tired of dealing with unruly apps on your iPad? Discover at iRepairs how to quickly solve those annoying problems and regain full control of your device with our practical and effective guide.

Solve your iPad problems in 6 steps
-
Close and reopen the app
Sometimes, simply closing and reopening the application can solve the problem. To do so, simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access the recent apps switcher.
Then, scroll left or right to find the problematic application, swipe it up to close it and then reopen it from the home screen.
-
Force close the app
If closing and opening the application does not work, you can try to force its closure. To do this, hold down the home button (or the side button, in the case of devices without a home button) until the recent apps switcher appears.
Find the problematic application, swipe up over its preview to close it completely and then try to open it again from the home screen.
-
Restart the device
Sometimes, a complete restart of the iPhone or iPad can solve problems with apps. To restart your device, hold down the power button (or the side button and one of the volume buttons, in the case of more recent models) until the power-off slider appears.
Move the slider and wait a few seconds before turning the device back on. Then, try to open the application again to see if the problem persists.
-
Check for updates
The problem may be related to an outdated version of the application. To check if there are updates available, open the App Store on your device, tap the profile icon in the upper right corner and scroll down until you find the «Available Updates» section.
If there is an update available for the problematic application, tap it to install it. If there are no updates available, you can also try to update the iPhone or iPad software, since sometimes this can solve compatibility problems.
-
Delete the app and download it again
If none of the previous steps solves the problem, you may need to delete the problematic application and then download it again from the App Store. Keep in mind that when deleting the application, you may lose the data stored in it, so make sure to make a backup if necessary.
Once you have deleted the application, search for its name in the App Store and download it again. Then, check if the problem has been solved.
